8/10/12 Today! I Begin My Radiation !
I am as pleased and excited as I can be to be able to begin this part of my recovery from cancer. I must always remember I had a 14 cm MASS in my Left Breast. Some people say, "They got rid of the breast, why do you need radiation? If your house is on fire and it burns to the ground. If you are the fire department you want to continue to put the fire out, as some embers might remain. In my case I have the wisdom and expertise of Dr. Charles Hechtman Radiology Oncology...PhD in Math. He can do calculations that no one else could dream of! I am luckier than a burning house!
